Amber and I left Palmer on April 6th. It was really sad to leave- I made really good friends with some penguins I met and I'm going to miss them. I'm sure we'll stay in touch over Facebook, though, and we'll see each other again some day.
I had a really great Drake crossing on the Gould, which is pretty rare, and we got to stop at Deception Island on the way. See the next post for more info on that!
